Die hard fans may be fanatical about the criticism of the new Watchmen Movie but some of us are smart enough to know a lucrative opportunity when we see one. The release of the film has sparked new attention and media towards the classic graphic novel with sales and searches skyrocketing the die hard fans and new fans find a second wind to their first love.

So to capitalize on this event or any other related event the watchmen fans with the best business sense take to ebay to sell some of the prized memorabilia that won’t be devastating to part with.

Here are the 10 steps made simple for signing up for ebay, buying and selling.

1. Sign up for an ebay account.  Just go to www.ebay.com and register, the process is short and extremely secure with over 86 million active users and 3.2 billion in transactions.
2. Buy! Search for anything Watchmen.  You then can re-organize your search by clicking the “sort by” drop down box. I like to sort by ending first.
3. Refine your search. Use the tabs to select auction style only, which means only bidding is allowed, or select the buy it now tab, which means fixed prices. Auction only is a better way to find cheap stuff. Also use the left column to set the price range or select the category etc to further narrow down what your looking for.
4. Search at odd times during the day to find auctions that have less competition. Also search for mispellings and different wordings. Doing this will sometimes land you high price item at almost no cost!
5. Do not forget to look at the shipping! Sometimes ebayers will lower the price dramatically but hike the pricing up to cover the cost. AVOID THOSE ADS as they usually try to sucker you with a low initial price. Instead look for free shipping or calculated shipping.
6. Be a Bid Sniper! When it comes to bidding on auction style listings do not get excited and try to claim your prize by bidding early, this will only drive the price higher. Instead wait and watch to almost the very end and bid at the last second to try to grab an item cheap. This is called sniping!
7. Pay! There are a few different ways of paying on ebay including money order, check, and credit cards. However the best and most trustworthy way is Paypal which is owned by Ebay. Paypal covers buyers and sellers with up to $2000 per transaction and is easy to see why it’s the most popular form of payment.  Enroll in Paypal, its fast, easy and secure so you can breathe easy.
8. Make some dough and quit your job! Ebay is notorious for being able to make a great income or a fast buck. If your looking to capitalize on a trend then click the sell tab in the top right corner. Then click start selling now.
9. List! Choose a releavant keywords and category. Then choose a title make it specific as possible and fill ad as many relevant keywords as possible.  You do not need a subtitle or any other fluff. The most important thing is the description, pictures, shipping and return policies. Make sure the descripition is precise and accurate, extra pictures are only ten cents extra but can go a long way although you can host your own of site. If your good with html then this is where you shine but remember ebay does not allow scripts and flash.
10. Get Paid! Offer paypal as your only means of payment or money order they are the most reliable. You can link your paypal account to deposit the money you made into your checking account which is a great feature, no waiting for checks.  Thats all there is to it.
